DDC Member Mohd Abass Rather inaugurates road rroject
In a significant step towards improving rural infrastructure, District Development Council (DDC) Member Mohd Abass Rather from Qaimoh-B on Saturday inaugurated the macadamization work of interior roads in Brazloo Jagir village, Kulgam.
This marks the first time the roads in the village are being macadamized, a long-pending demand of the residents. The villagers expressed their gratitude to senior CPI(M) leader and MLA Kulgam, M.Y. Tarigami, for facilitating the project.
“After delimitation, our village became part of the Kulgam constituency. We had seen substantial development elsewhere in Kulgam and hoped our needs would also be met. Today’s work feels like the beginning of that journey,” said a local resident.
The residents praised MLA Tarigami for his commitment to grassroots development and described the roadwork as a reflection of his dedication to public service.
They also lauded DDC Member Mohd Abass Rather for consistently raising local issues and working to ensure they are addressed at the appropriate forums.
